Magdalena Neuner Biography

Magdalena Neuner is the most successful woman of all-time at the Biathlon World Championships. Neuner won 17 medals in her six trips to Worlds. She was also a seven-time Junior World Champion. Neuner starred on the Olympic stage in 2010, taking home three medals, two of them gold. Her 34 World Cup victories rank second all-time on the Biathlon World Cup Tour. After being named the German Sportswoman of the Year in 2012, Neuner retired from competition.
