Mike Lee Biography

Mike Lee is a Wheaton, Illinois native and is one of the top up and coming boxing stars in the Light Heavyweight division. Lee got his start in boxing at the age of 16 and went on to compete in the annual all campus intramural boxing tournament at Notre Dame University while attending school there. During his sophomore year he captured the title in the 175-pound division with a third round knockout. He went on to defend his title as a junior and then headed off to compete in the 2009 Chicago Golden Gloves competition, where he won his class with an undefeated 4-0 record. In 2010 he turned pro and made his debut at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, winning a four round unanimous decision. Lee is managed by Top Rank and trains in Texas with legendary trainer Ronnie Shields. He’s not afraid to step in the ring and go toe to toe with the top competitors in the world, and continues to rise in the rankings as he gains experience.
