Mike White Biography

Mike White is the head basketball coach for the Georgia Bulldogs. White came to Athens in 2022 after one of the most successful runs on the court in University of Florida history. He led the Gators to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2017. That year, White was named SEC Coach of the Year. He got his first head coaching gig at Louisiana Tech and went 101-40 from 2011-2015. White won three regular season conference titles while leading the Bulldogs program. His first coaching jobs came as an assistant at Jacksonville State and Ole Miss. White was a four-year starter for the Rebels as a player, leading them to three NCAA Tournaments and their first tourney win in program history.
