Nicole Gibbs Biography

Nicole Gibbs is a rising tennis star on the ITF Tour. She is winner of four singles titles and three doubles titles on the circuit. Gibbs won her first ITF Tour event in 2007. In 2014, she won her first main-draw match at the Grand Slam event with her U.S. Open win. Gibbs has also found success in WorldTeam Tennis. In 2016, she was named WTT Most Valuable Player after leading the league in doubles winning percentage and finishing second in singles with the Orange County Breakers. Gibbs also had a terrific collegiate career at Stanford University. She won the 2012 Honda Sports Award as a sophomore and was an All-American on both the singles and doubles circuits. Gibbs won the NCAA singles and doubles titles, becoming just the third person to win both titles in the same year. She was the 2012 Pac-12 Player of the Year and a first-team All-Pac 12 choice.
