Pat Riley Biography

Pat Riley is heralded as one of the greatest coaches of all-time, in any sport.  After a decorated career in the NBA as a player in which he helped the Los Angeles Lakers to an NBA Championship in 1972 he took up coaching and helped the Lakers to another championship in 1980 as an assistant and four more as their head coach from 1981 to 1990.  Then he made his way to South Beach and won another NBA Championship as the head coach of the Miami Heat. As if that was not enough, Riley then joined the Heat as the President of Basketball Operations and captured two more championship rings in 2012 and 2013.

In addition to his basketball duties Riley is also a highly sought after speaker and best-selling author. As one of the top coaches ever, Riley understands the importance of teamwork and knows what it takes to create positive attitudes to promote success as an organization. Riley is the author of Showtime and The Winner Within, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with those who want to be successful in all that they do.
