Patrick Cantlay Biography

Patrick Cantlay is a successful PGA Tour golfer, but his reputation was already well-established prior to turning professional. Cantlay spent 55 weeks on top of the World Amateur Golf Rankings. In college at UCLA, he was named Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year and won the Jack Nicklaus Award, Haskins Award and Ben Hogan Award. He was also the recipient of the 2011 Mark H. McCormack Medal as the top amateur player. Cantlay turned pro in 2012 and has won twice on the PGA Tour. After finishing third at the PGA Championship and winning the prestigious Memorial Tournament in 2019, he reached a career-high of sixth in the Official World Golf Ranking.
