Paul Menard Biography

Paul Menard is a stock car driver, currently racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Menard is the son of John Menard Jr., the founder of Menards Company. He broke into NASCAR in the Busch Series with Dale Earnhardt Incorporated in 2004, experiencing moderate success and was promoted to the Sprint Cup Series in 2007. In 2008, Menard finished 26th in the standings, a career best up to that point. In 2011, Menard moved over to Richard Childress racing, winning his first career race at the Brickyard 400 that very same year. Through his eleven year career, Menard has won one Sprint Cup race and two Nationwide races, and is still signed with Richard Childress driving the #27 Chevrolet.
