Paula Weishoff Biography

Paula Weishoff is a retired female volleyball player. Weishoff represented the United States at multiple international tournaments during her career, including the Olympics. Prior to her international success, Weishoff played at USC for one season, earning All American honors and leading the Lady Trojans to a national championship. After leaving USC, Wesihoff focused on international play, winning multiple medals at tournaments such as the NORCECA games, The World Championships, the Pan American Games, the Goodwill Games, and the World Cup. Overall, Weishoff has earned 10 total medals, with the highlight being a silver medal at the 1984 Olympics and a bronze at the 1992 Olympics. Following her retirement from playing, Weishoff became the head volleyball coach at Concordia University, eventually leaving the team to coach at UC Irvine, a position she holds today.
