Rich Beem Biography

Rich Beem is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Before turning pro in 1994, Beem played golf in college at New Mexico State University where he was a star player. Early on in his professional career he lost interest and ended up working selling car stereos and cell phones. It didn’t take long for Rich to regain interest and return to the game of golf. In fact, in 1999 Beem won the Kemper Open as a rookie and later won in 2002 at The International tournament. Just two weeks later Rich won his biggest title to date, the 2002 PGA Championship, one of the four major tournaments in professional golf. Beem has also finished in the top 20 of both the Masters Tournament and the Open Championship in route to his five professional wins. Along with the PGA Tour, Rich has played in Europe on the European Tour in 2012.
