Sara Walsh Biography

Sara Walsh is most famously recognized for her personality as a sportscaster. Currently, she works for the ESPN network, which she has been a member of since 2010. Walsh grew up in Florida, specifically Tampa, surrounded by sports. She excelled in soccer throughout her childhood and went on to become a fouryear starter at the University of North Florida. She worked diligently towards a career in sports broadcasting after graduating from the University of North Florida and worked as a weekend sports anchor and Redskins beat reporter in Washington, D.C. for several years. Prior to that, she earned three Emmy awards working for WKRN in Nashville and also served a Sports Director in Georgia at WPGA. With extensive experience under her belt, it was no surprise that Walsh was hired by the ESPN network in 2010. She has been a wonderful contribution to the network ever since and has gone on to marry minor league baseball pitcher Matt Buschmann while continuing to carry out her passion with her career in sportscasting.
