Tim Bowens Biography

Tim Bowens is a former National Football League (NFL) defensive tackle who played 11 seasons for the Miami Dolphins. He played college football for the University of Mississippi, and was chosen by the Dolphins with the 20th pick of the 1994 NFL Draft.  In his rookie season he was named The NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 2002. He retired from football after the 2004 season.
