Troy Drayton Biography

Troy Drayton is a former professional football player in the National Football League as a tight end. Troy began his career in football in college when he attended Pennsylvania State University. When he was there he became a standout star of the team and helped to lead the team to success. For his contributions on and off the field Troy was honored as an All-American. After College Troy then made the transition to the NFL where he became the 39th overall selection in the 1993 NFL Draft. In his nine year career with the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Green Bay Packers, Drayton accumulated a total of 243 receptions for a career total of 2,645 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns. Troy played his last game in the league in 2000 with the Kansas City Chiefs before joining the practice squad of the Packers the following season and then retiring from playing the game professionally.
