Yani Tseng Biography

Perhaps the most successful female golfer going, Yani Tseng is the youngest golfer ever to win five major championships.  Tseng was ranked number one in the world for 109 consecutive weeks and is a two-time LPGA Player of the Year.  Her first major came at the LPGA Championship in 2008, just her second year as a pro.  At 19, Tseng was also the LPGA Rookie of the Year in 2008.  In 2010, she won the Kraft Nabisco Championship and the Women’s British Open.  Tseng also added LPGA and Women’s British Open Championships in 2011.  No other LPGA golfer reached two million dollars in career earnings faster.  As an amateur, she beat Michelle Wie in the final of the 2004 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links.  Tseng is from Taiwan, but currently resides in Orlando, Florida.  She is sponsored by Adams Golf, Lacoste, Oakley, and Titleist.  The Qlove Golf Charity Foundation enlists Tseng as their “Loving Heart Ambassador” and she donates money for every birdie or eagle.
