A.J. Pierzynski Biography

Anthony John Pierzynski is former a professional baseball player. AJ showed great promise as a catcher and hitter as a young baseball player and had multiple avenues available to him following his All-State honors performances in high school.  After signing a letter of intent to the University of Tennessee, AJ also learned he had been drafted by the Minnesota Twins and chose to go the professional route.  After 16 seasons, AJ has numerous awards and accolades which include two All-Star appearances in 2002 and 06, the silver slugger award in 2012 and the prestigious World Series championship in 2005 with the Chicago White Sox.  There is no doubt that AJ has made an impression on the baseball landscape..
