About Aly Raisman
Best known as one of the “Fierce 5” U.S. Women’s Gymnastic Team members, Aly Raisman will forever be synonymous with the summer of 2012. She was the captain of the 2012 team that took home the gold medal from the London Olympics. Raisman also took home two individual medals, gold for the floor exercise and a bronze on the balance beam. She finished tied for third in the all-around, but lost out on a medal due to a tiebreaker. In addition to her Olympic medal haul, Raisman is also a three-time medalist at the World Championships. Capitalizing on her gymnastics fame, Raisman competed on the sixteenth season of Dancing With the Stars and finished fourth with her partner Mark Ballas. The Needham, Massachusetts native has been participating in gymnastics since the age of two. Raisman has endorsed products for Ralph Lauren, GK Elite Sportswear, American Girl, Poland Spring, and Pandora Jewelry, among others.
