Andrew DeClercq Biography

Andrew DeClercq was a ten year NBA veteran, suiting up for the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Orlando Magic. DeClercq spent four plus seasons with the Magic and built a name in the Central Florida area. Over his career, he averaged 4.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He was originally drafted by the Warriors out of the University of Florida in 1995. DeClercq was a major part of the Gators rise to college basketball prominence. He was a starter for their first ever Final Four team in 1994. DeClercq has stayed in the Orlando area following retirement. He served as an assistant coach for the nationally ranked Montverde Academy high school team and was a head coach for two seasons at Foundation Academy. He ran DeClercq Basketball for two years and currently works as a business and facility director for HighPoint Church.
