Annie Lazor made an improbable comeback to shine on the Olympic stage. Lazor made her Olympic debut in Tokyo at the age of 26 and secured a bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke. She also won three gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Games and a gold medal at the 2018 World Championships. Lazor had previously tried to qualify for the Olympics twice.
