About Anthony Robles
As a man who crafted one sportsā most inspiring stories, Anthony Robles is a champion, survivor, and motivator. Robles won the 2010-11 NCAA individual wrestling championship in the 125 pound weight class. He did so despite being born with only one leg. Robles is now motivational speaker and author of the book āUnstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeatedā. As a high school wrestler, he initially struggled, going just 5-8 his first year. Robles figured out what his advantages on the mat were and finished his Mesa High School career as a national champion with an overall 129-15 record. Still, many of the college wrestling powers did not recruit him, but he signed on with Arizona State. In addition to his collegiate national title Robles was a three-time Pac 10 champion and three-time All-American. His career record for the Sun Devils was 122-23. Robles initially rejected wearing a prosthetic leg at the age of three
