Boo Weekley Biography

Boo Weekley is the pride of Milton, Florida and starred on the golf course while attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.  After a stellar college career he turned pro in 1997 and began playing on several mini-tours until qualifying for the PGA Tour in 1997.  He’d go on to star on the Nationwide Tour from 2003 to 2006 and capture his first professional win in 2007 at the Verizon Heritage.  The following year he defended his title at the Verizon Heritage and also had a standout year at the majors, finishing ninth at the 2007 PGA Championship and 26th at the US Open.  In 2008 he finished 20th at the Masters and 26th at the US Open for the second consecutive year.  He’d go on to post a 13th place finish at The Open Championship in 2009, and has remained a top competitor on tour ever since, winning the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in 2013..  Weekley is one of the most marketable athletes on the PGA Tour, with sponsors that include Mossy Oak, Mastercard, Bass Pro Shops, Jack Daniel’s and Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.
