Cameron Beckman Biography

Cameron Beckman began playing golf as a young man and attended Texas Lutheran University after a standout prep career at Burnsville Senior High School.  While at Texas Lutheran Beckman won the 1991 NAIA Individual Championship and earned All-American honors.  In 1993 he earned his degree and turned pro, joining the Lone Star Tour.  During his first season on tour he was named the 1994 Player of the Year and went on to win his first PGA Tour event at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic in 2001.  Since that time he has won two more PGA Tour events including the Frys.com Open in 2008 and the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun in 2010.  His top finish in a PGA major tournament came in 2002 at the PGA Championship when he finished 53rd.  Beckman is a young star on the tour and continues to impress each time he tees off.
