Charissa Thompson Biography

Charissa Thompson is a versatile sports and entertainment host, best known for her work covering the NFL. Thompson currently works for FOX Sports as a host of FOX NFL Kickoff and for Amazon Prime anchoring their Thursday Night Football coverage. 

Thompson previously worked for ESPN from 2010-13, hosting a variety of programs, most notably SportsNation. She rejoined the FOX family in 2013 during the launch of Fox Sports 1. 

Thompson got her first major opportunities in the business with Big Ten Network and Fox Sports Net. She is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and a native of Seattle, Washington. Outside of sports, Thompson also built crossover appeal while hosting the entertainment news program Extra and currently hosts the Calm Down Podcast with fellow FOX Sports personality Erin Andrews.
