Chase Young Biography

Chase Young was the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins after becoming the most dominant defensive player in college football at Ohio State. Young played three seasons for the Buckeyes and finished second in school history with 30.5 sacks. As a junior, he broke the single-season program record with 16.5 sacks. For his tremendous year, Young was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and an All-American. He also won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award and Ted Hendricks Award. Young was a second-team All-Big Ten pick in 2018 as well after a 10.5 sack campaign.
