Cheryl Miller Biography

Sometimes overshadowed by her more well-known brother, Reggie Miller, many will be surprised to learn of the success that Cheryl Miller had in basketball from a very young age. As a four year starter in high school, Miller was a 4x Parade All-American when she set California records for points in a single game (105), points in a single season (1,156), and points for a career (3,405). In college, Miller continued to find success at the University of Southern California where she again started for 4 straight years, leading the Trojans to 2 National Championships while 3x being named the Naismith College Player of the Year. Miller was also a member of the US National Team, helping bring home gold medals in both the Olympics and the FIBA World Championships. After her playing career ended early due to injuries, Miller coached for 2 seasons with her alma mater and 4 more seasons in the WNBA for the Phoenix Mercury. Following her coaching career, Miller began broadcasting for TNT where she serves as an analyst and sideline reporter for NBA games. Miller was inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and the FIBA Hall of Fame.
