David Justice Biography

David Justice played in the big leagues for 14 seasons with the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics from 1989 to 2002.  Justice was a brilliant student in his younger days, graduating from Covington Latin School in Covington, Kentucky at the age of 16.  He went on to study Criminal Justice at Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  He is most well known for his time with the Atlanta Braves, where he was named the NL Rookie of the Year in 1990, earned two of his three All-Star selections, won his first Silver Slugger Award in 1993 and helped the Braves to a World Series title in 1995.  He’d go on to earn another All-Star selection and Silver Slugger Award in 1997 with the Indians and lead the Yankees to a World Series title in 2000.  Justice retired in 2002 with 305 career homeruns and 1,017 RBI in 1,610 career games.
