David Krejci Biography

David Krejci has played his entire career with the Boston Bruins and is one of the best hockey players of Czech origin in the world today.  In 2013, he was given the Golden Stick Award as the top active Czech player and named an alternate captain for the Bruins.  Krejci was a star of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs.  He scored a league-best 12 goals, including four game-winners as the Bruins skated home with the Cup.  Krejci has also played in the Olympics twice for the Czech Republic.  The Bruins originally drafted him in the second round of the 2004 NHL Draft.  Krejci played junior hockey in his home country before he was drafted and moved over to play in the QMJHL.
