David Rodriguez Biography

David Rodriguez was born a fighter in El Paso, Texas and eventually turned his hobby into a profession.  After a stellar amateur career in which he posted a 10-1 record with six knockouts he turned pro in 2003 at the age of 26 and won the Texas State Heavyweight Title with a first round knockout.  Six years later he won the NBA Heavyweight title with another impressive knockout and would go on to capture the WBC FECOMBOX Mexican title in 2011.  Over the course of his impressive pro boxing career he has posted a 36-1 record with an unbelievable 34 wins by knockout.  Rodriguez is managed by Zeferino Entertainment and trains at his gym in El Paso, Texas called Ninobravo Promotions.  He opened his gym with the mission of bringing quality Boxing and MMA events to his hometown.  Currenty he is ranked as the No. 5 fighter in the world by the International Boxing Association and is No. 15 in the World Boxing Council rankings.
