Harold Reynolds Biography

Harold Reynolds is a retired MLB second baseman who played primarily for the Seattle Mariners over his 11 year career. Prior to his MLB career, Reynolds attended Canada College for one season, before leaving after being drafted in the first round of the 1980 MLB Draft by the Mariners. After three seasons in the minor leagues, Reynolds finally made his MLB debut on September 2nd, 1983, but did not play a full season in the majors until 1985. Reynolds’ best seasons came in 197 and 1988, when he would be named an All-Star in both seasons, and he led the American League with 60 stolen bases in 1987. In 1992, Reynolds was granted free agency, and he chose to sign with the Baltimore Orioles, playing one season in Baltimore before ending his career with the California Angels in 1994. Reynolds is now a renowned baseball analyst, known for his work at ESPN, the MLB Network and Fox Sports.
