Heather Marini Biography

Heather Marini is the current quarterbacks coach at Brown University and she made history when the Bears hired her to the role in 2020. She became the first female position coach in Division 1 history. She had previously spent the 2019 season as an offensive quality control assistant for the program. Marini also has some NFL experience as a former summer scouting specialist with the New York Jets. She has a unique background, originally growing up in Australia. Marini played football in her home country with the Gridiron Victoria Women's tackle Football and Monash Warriors Women's Gridiron. She was also the Monash Warriors head coach for three years after working as quarterbacks coach for three seasons. Marini has a bachelor's degree in emergency health from Monash University and bachelor's in exercise and sport science from Deakin University.
