Jaromir Jagr Biography

Jaromir Jagr had one of the most remarkable careers in hockey history. After beginning his career in 1990 as the fifth overall selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins, he quickly became one of the most respected players in the league. 

During Jagr's first two seasons, he helped the Penguins to consecutive Stanley Cup titles. He would go on to win the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL scoring champion five times and 13 NHL All-Star nods.

Over the course of his 25-year NHL career, Jagr played for nine different franchises, but of course will also be remembered for his time with the Penguins. His career stood the test the time as he made his final All-Star appearance as a 44-year-old while playing with the Florida Panthers in 2016.

He has also won two Ice Hockey World Championships and an Olympic Gold Medal as a member of the Czech Republic national team.
