Jermichael Finley Biography

Jermichael Finley played five seasons in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers from 2008 to 2013. Finley is a Texas native and played his prep football at Diboll High School. After lettering in basketball, football and track he signed to continue his football career at the University of Texas. As a junior he caught 45 passes for 575 yards and two touchdowns in route to earning honorable mention All-Big 12 honors at the tight end position. Finley was drafted in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Packers and would go on to help his team to an NFC Championship in 2010 and a Super Bowl title in 2011. He retired in 2013 with 223 receptions, 2,785 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. During his time in the NFL he was considered one of the top tight end targets in the league, and was known for his speed, athleticism and ball skills in the air.
