Jim Christian Biography

Jim Christian has been tasked with building Boston College into a winner.  Christian took the job after back-to-back 20-win seasons at Ohio.  He has also been a head coach at TCU and Kent State.  Christian took the Golden Flashes to the NCAA Tournament twice and produced at least 20 wins in each of his six seasons.  He had extensive assistant coaching experience, getting his start in 1990 at Western Kentucky.  The Kent State opportunity came along when former head coach Stan Heath left for Arkansas.  Christian played for both Rick Pitino and Tom Penders in college at Boston University and Rhode Island respectively.  In his final collegiate season, the Rams reached the Sweet 16.
