Jocelyn Lamoureux-Davidson Biography

Jocelyn Lamoureux-Davidson is a forward for the United States women's national hockey team. She scored the crowning moment of her career when she notched the game-winning goal in a shootout to carry the U.S. over Canada and secure an Olympic gold medal in 2018. It was Team USA's first Olympic gold in 20 years. Lamoureux-Davidson also set a record at the tournament by scoring two goals six seconds apart. She was previously part of teams that won silver medals at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics. Lamoureux-Davidson is a six-time World Champion. She made her Team USA senior national team debut in 2009 alongside her twin sister, Monique. Lamoureux-Davidson played one season of college hockey at the University of Minnesota and three seasons at the University of North Dakota. As a freshman, she finished fourth in the country with 65 points and helped the Gophers reach the NCAA Women's Final Four. Lamoureux-Davidson was the NCAA scoring champion while with UND.
