Jon Rahm Biography

Jon Rahm is a rising star on the PGA Tour after a banner amateur career. He played college golf at Arizona State University and was a two-time Ben Hogan Award winner for the Sun Devils. For 60 weeks, Rahm was the top player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He won the Mark H. McCormack Medal in 2015. At the 2016 U.S. Open, Rahm finished in 23rd place and was the low amateur. He turned professional after that tournament and finished third at his first event, the Quicken Loans National. The following year, Rahm won his first event in January at the Farmers Insurance Open.
