Jonathan Huberdeau Biography

Jonathan Huberdeau is a native of Saint-Jerome, Canada and joined the Florida Panthers as the third overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. He got his start in hockey by playing on the Ste. Eustache Vikings of the Quebec Midget League. Throughout his junior and major career played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and twice led the league in scoring. In 2012, he earned NHL All-Rookie Team honors and the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie. Huberdeau spent ten seasons with the Panthers, earning All-Star appearances in 2020 and 2022. He was also a NHL Second Team All-Star in 2022 and led Florida to the league's best record while notching a career-best 115 points. Huberdeau was traded to the Calgary Flames the following offseason.
