Jose Mourinho Biography

No one has dominated the modern era of soccer from the sidelines quite like Jose Mourinho. Mourinho has guided some of the top clubs in the world, including Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United. Mourinho got his start as a manager in Portugal with Porta in 2002. There he won two Primera Liga titles and the Champions League. Mourinho left after two years to join Chelsea and he led them to two Premier League titles and two League Cups in three seasons. His next stop was at Inter Milan, where again he was successful, winning Serie A twice. Mourinho was named FIFA World Coach of the Year after guiding Milan to the Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League titles in 2010. He subsequently tried his luck in Spain, where he won La Liga and his team set a season points record. After departing Milan, Mourinho coached briefly back at Chelsea and then subsequently with Man U and Tottenham Hotspur. The Portuguese Football Federation named him Portuguese Coach of the Century.
