Julie Golob Biography

Julie Golob began her shooting career at the age of 14 and has become the most decorated pro markswoman in American history. After high school she joined the United States Army as a member of the Army Action Shooting Team. In 1999 she competed in the USPSA Nationals and won the limited and open division titles. Her performance in 1999 earned her US Army Athlete of the Year honors. In 2002 she was honorably discharged from the Army and began a successful career as a professional markswoman. Since that time she has earned contracts with Glock and Team Smith & Wesson, and won the limited-10, single stack and production divisions at the 2006 USPSA Nationals. In 2011 she won the production and revolver divisions at the USPSA Nationals, making her the only six division champion in history. Her many achievements include winning 13 USPSA Ladies National Championships, seven Ladies World Speed Shooting Championships, and two NRA Bianchi Cup Ladies Open Championships.
