Kelly Slater Biography

There is no one who will ever be as iconic as Kelly Slater in the surfing world.  Slater is an 11-time ASP World Tour Champion and the all-time wins leader.  He was the youngest and the oldest surfer to capture a title.  Slater was well known for his long association with surfwear company Quiksilver.  He has written two books including his autobiography that was released in 2003.  There are numerous films and television shows that Slater has appeared in.  Suicide prevention and ocean preservation are two of the causes he is passionate about and supports with charitable initiatives.  Slater is a Cocoa Beach, Florida native and still lives there.
