Kenechi Udeze Biography

Kenechi Udeze is a former USC All-American, NFL veteran, and current strength and conditioning coach.  The Minnesota Vikings originally drafted Udeze in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.  He had some success, but in 2008 was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and had to retire from the game.  Now an assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater. Udeze’s story stands to tell other people that they can find many avenues to be involved with their passions.  At USC, Udeze was the NCCA National Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.  The Trojans won the Rose Bowl and he also earned first-team All-American and first-team All-Pac 10 accolades.  Udeze’s 28 career sacks are a school record.
