Kevin Blackistone Biography

Kevin Blackistone has long been respected as one of the best sports journalists in America. Blackistone graduated from Northwestern's prestigious Medill School. He started his career as a city side reporter at The Boston Globe. Blackistone also worked for The Chicago Reporter and The Dallas Morning News before beginning his sports journalism career. He started as a columnist and sports business writer for SportsDay in 1990. Subsequently, Blackistone became popular throughout the country as a regular panelist on the ESPN show, Around The Horn. Blackistone was also a columnist for FanHouse from 2007-11. He is currently a columnist at his hometown Washington Post and the Shirley Povich chair of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland.
