Kim Couture Biography

Kim Couture is an American mixed martial artist who worked as a sheriff’s deputy in Colorado and casino executive in Los Vegas prior to joining the ranks of professional fighters. In 2008 she made her MMA debut and showed unbelievable toughness by continuing to fight despite a broken jaw. She eventually went on to fight in the American Fight League before signing a contract with Strikeforce. During her debut right in Strikeforce she knocked out her opponent in the first round and went on to be a star on the MMA circuit. In 2010 she as among the headliners at XFC 11: The Next Generation and AX Combat 1. During her pro career she has accumulated three professional wins under the mentorship of her former husband Randy Couture, who is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, with two of her wins coming by knockout.
