Mike Brown Biography

Mike Brown was born in Portland, Maine and starred on the wrestling team at Bonny Eagle High School in Standish, Maine, where he won a state title in as a junior team captain in 1992. He went on to wrestle at Norwich University, where he developed a reputation for being able to focus and deliver during big time matches. Upon graduating from Norwich he began pursuing a successful career in mixed martial arts. Since 2001 he has posted a 26-9 career record while competing in World Extreme Fighting and in the UFC. In 2008 Brown captured the WEC Featherweight Championship with the Knockout of the Night and went on to successfully defend his title three times. Brown has competed in the Featherweight and Lightweight divisions and sports a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Currently he fights out of Coconut Creek, Florida as a member of the American Top Team.
