Mike Elias Biography

Mike Elias is the architect behind the resurgence of the Baltimore Orioles. Elias has served as the executive vice president and general manager of the Orioles since 2019. Over that time, he has made astute acquisitions and rebuilt the farm system, which culminated in him being named MLB Executive of the Year in 2023. 

Elias originally started in baseball as a scout for the St. Louis Cardinals after graduating from Yale. From 2012-18, he worked his way up in the Houston Astros organization, originally joining as special assistant to the GM before being promoted to assistant general manager.
