Mike Swick Biography

Mike Swick is a mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Swick’s career began in smaller shows that included events of World Extreme Cagefighting. Prior to his fight with Chris Leben, Swick had a record of 5-0. Swick challenged Leben to the WEC Middleweight Champion and he lost the fight by a knockout in the second round. Soon after his first professional loss, Swick entered the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, a TV show produced by UFC. Swick stopped Gideon Ray with a technical knockout at UFC Ultimate Fight Night. Swick’s first UFC loss came at UFC 69, when he lost to Yushin Okami by unanimous decision. Swick dropped out to welterweight and he fought Josh Burkman where he won by majority decision. Swick spent 2013 in Phuket, Thailand where by built his dream gym, AKA Thailand. So far in his career, Swick has fought in a total of 20 fights and he has won 15 of them.
