Mitchell Baldwin Biography

A native of Alabama, Mitchell Baldwin is an author, corporate consultant, executive coach, and real estate entrepreneur. While he has been successful in the aforementioned ventures, Mitchell has also been successful in sports. He started an Amateur Athletic Union basketball team for players that had been cut from other teams to allow them to increase their visibility and maybe get noticed. Along the way Baldwin was instrumental in the teams going on to win state and regional championships as well as national tournaments. With all that he has been able to accomplish, Mitchell decided to give back when he founded the youth organization CHAMP, which has become the largest non-profit youth group in the state of Alabama helping the inner city children in Birmingham as well as taking action to mobilize service and civic engagement to bring about change in the world. For that contribution he was recognized by President George H.W. Bush as the nations “200th Point of Light.”
