Owen Power Biography

Owen Power is slated to be a star for years to come for the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres selected him first overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft out of Michigan. The defenseman decided to play his sophomore season for the Wolverines, scoring 27 points in 29 games. He was named to the All-Big Ten First Team. Power also suited up for Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics and won a gold medal as part of their 2021 World Championship squad. He made his NHL debut late in the 2022 season, notching three points in eight games.
