Peter Crouch Biography

Peter Crouch has played all over the English Premier League, but currently is a striker for Stoke City.  The club put up a record sum for him in 2011 and Crouch proceeded to be the Stoke City Player of the Year.  Perhaps his greatest individual and team success came with Liverpool from 2005-08.  Crouch scored 42 goals and the team won both the FA Community Shield and FA Cup during his time there.  In 2007, Liverpool also finished as the runner-ups in the UEFA Champions League.  Crouch started his professional career as a trainee with Tottenham Hotspur and got to play for them from 2009-11.  He has been a great player on the international stage, scoring 22 goals for England in 42 caps and appearing in two World Cups.  Crouch started playing from a very early age and was a ball boy at ten years old.
