Picabo Street Biography

Picabo Street is one of the most accomplished American alpine ski racers of all-time.  Street was a member of three Olympic teams and won gold in super G in 1998.  She also captured a silver in the downhill at the 1994 Games.  Street is the first woman to ever win World Cup downhill season titles, doing so in 1995 and 1996.  Overall, she won nine World Cup races in her career.   Street has three World Championship medals, including a downhill gold from 1996.  In 2004, he tremendous resume was honored with induction into the National Ski Hall of Fame.  Street’s success led to corporate partnerships like Mountain Dew and ChapStick while she was still skiing.  Her 2001 autobiography is titled, “Picabo: Nothing to Hide”.
