Randall Godfrey Biography

Randall Godfrey is a former NFL linebacker. The Dallas Cowboys originally selected in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft. Godfrey never missed a game in his four seasons and collected 438 tackles with the Cowboys. He then joined the Tennessee Titans and had his best season in 2000. Godfrey totaled a career-high 169 tackles and was a second-team All-Pro. Godfrey also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins. In addition to his standout pro career, he is one of the great players in University of Georgia history. He was a three-time All-SEC performer for the Bulldogs. Godfrey was also the first UGA freshman to lead the team in tackles and won the 1992 SEC Freshman of the Year award.
