Robert Karlsson Biography

Robert Karlsson is a professional golfer who has spent time playing on both the European Tour as well as the PGA Tour. After turning professional in 1989 he qualified for the European Tour for the first time in 1990. He has been on the tour ever since, and his most notable victory came in 2008 when he won the Order of Merit. Robert has the distinction of breaking the European Tour’s 36 hole and 54 hole scoring records by shooting 124 for the first two rounds and 189 for the first three rounds at the 2006 Celtic Manor Wales Open. Robert has 12 professional wins to his credit which has earned him a spot in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rating for 25 weeks since 2008. In the United States on the PGA Tour Karlsson has finished in the top ten of the Masters Tournament and the top five in U.S Open, The Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.
