Rocco Mediate Biography

Rocco Mediate is a professional golfer. He went to Florida Southern College where he became a member of the schools golf team. Rocco lead his college team to the 1985 Division II National Team Championship. He turned pro in 1985 and went on to win six PGA Tour events over his career, as well as two Champions Tour events. His greatest accomplishment in a major championship event was finishing in second place in the 2008 U.S. Open, and his greatest finish in the Masters Tournament was in 2001 when Rocco finished T15, and the highest he has finished in the Professional Golf Association Championship was in the 2002 season when he placed sixth overall. Mediate has also spent time playing poker playing in the 2005 World Series of Poker's Main Event. Rocco has also become a golf reporter for The Golf Channel, reporting on the course for the PGA Tour.
